IMPLICATION FOR THE DESIGN AND UNDERSTANDING OF INFORMATION SYSTEM
Information system must be developed with an understandable perceptive of the organization in order to convey authentic benefits.
Central organizational factors when planning new system are:
§ The surroundings which the organization must function
§ The construction of the organization, such as hierarchy, specialization, routines and business process
§ The organization customs and politics
§ The type of organization and its style
§ The principle interest group affected by the system and the attitudes of workers
§ The kind of tasks, decision and business process that information system is intended to support
Information should design system that obtainable of these features
§ Flexible and offer many alternative for managing data and evaluating info
§ Capable supporting variety of style, skills and knowledge
§ Perceptive to the organization’s bureaucratic and political obligation[1]
